Cocorico Endo, Chiaki Divorce

Another showbiz divorce was announced this weekend, with comedian Endo Shouzou (36) and talento Chiaki (36) ending their less than six-year marriage

The main reason is thought to be Chiaki's running out of patience with her husband's philandering.

One half of the popular duo Cocorico, Endo took part in a trip to Hawaii in January of last year with a group of fellow comedians and young beauties. And in March this year, he was photographed at a party with a group of race queens.

The couple, both die-hard fans of the Hanshin Tigers baseball team, married in July 2002 and had a baby daughter in May 2003. All three were photographed together at a Tigers game at Koshien and were often referred to as an ideal showbiz family.

Enrique Iglesias' loveless sex

Enrique Iglesias insists you don't need to love someone to have sex with them.

The 'Insomniac' singer believes lust is all you need to have fun in the bedroom.

He said: "Sex and love are so different that, of course, you don't have to be in love with a woman to sleep with her but it's amazing when you get them both together. I'd say I've been in love about 10 times in my life, although those feelings usually turned out to be lust.

Khan is 'favourite' of Bollywood fans

MUMBAI: Bollywood star SHAH RUKH KHAN has been chosen as the Sabsey (most) Favourite Hero while actresses RANI MUKHERJEE and KATRINA KAIF shared the favourite heroine award.

Om Shanti Om star DeepikA Padukone and Saawriya hero Ranbir Kapoor bagged the favourite budding actress and actor awards, respectively.

Om Shanti Om has been voted the best film by Bollywood fans.

All nominees and winners have been chosen by fans from across the world, making it an opinion poll where winners are honoured for their popularity and not performances in a particular film.

The voting process for the awards covered 30 towns in India and over 60 countries internationally.

Speaking on the event, Star India VP marketing and communication Prem Kamath said, "Idea Sabsey Favourite Kaun has emerged as a true barometer of an actor's popularity as the winners are chosen solely by their fans. Indian cinema has such an immense impact on the lives of people, and this is evident by the overwhelming response we have received year after year."

The event saw dazzling performances by Katrina Kaif as she performed to the tune of songs from her recent films Partner and Welcome. SHAHID KAPOOR engrossed the audience with his superb performance which included a medley from his latest hit, Jab We Met and Fool and Final.

HIMESH RESHAMIYA rocked the evening with songs from his debut movie - Aap Ka Suroor and left the audience asking for more as he strummed the theme tune from his forthcoming movie Karz. Show hosts, Shilpa, Tanya and Chitrashi performed on the songs from their blockbuster movie, Chak de India.

Why Does Hollywood Cast Korean Actors?

One after another, an increased number of Korean stars, including Jang Dong-gun, Rain, Lee Byeong-Heon, Jeon Ji-hyeon, Park Joon-hyung and Song Hye-kyo, had been cast in American films.

But, why would Hollywood be interested in Korean stars? According to the analysis produced by the Film Promotion Committee, the average annual film marketing growth in America from 2000 to 2005 had been around 31,6 billion dollars. Comparing it against England (2nd – 5,2 billion) and Japan (3rd – 4,6 billion), the American market is approximately 6 time larger, the biggest market in the world. In particular, the film industry had been dramatically advanced and countless American actors are being already appearing in their films.

Therefore there's seems no suitable reason to cast Korean actors who virtually has no recognition in America. However, in the process of producing the film, the American film producers and the major studios makes careful strategy to target the international market.

Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn are divorcing

The couple - who have two children together, Hopper Jack, 14, and Dylan Frances, 16 - have decided to go their separate ways after 11 years of marriage.

The couple's representative Mara Buxbaun confirmed the news to People magazine

No further information has been released yet.

Penn, 47, and Wright, 41, started dating in the early 90s and married in 1996, five years after their first child was born.

During their marriage the couple starred in a number of films together, including 'Hurlyburly' in 1998 and 'She's So Lovely' in 1997.

This will be Penn's second divorce. His four-year marriage to pop star Madonna ended in 1989, just shortly before he started dating Wright.

Earlier this year, Penn lost two trailers when the California wildfires scorched his land in Malibu.

Penn used to have a home on the plot before it was destroyed in an arson-suspected brushfire in 1993.

Paris Hilton Set to Lose Fortune

Paris Hilton is set to lose a huge slice of her fortune after it was revealed her billionaire grandfather is leaving almost all of his money to charity.

"The Simple Life" star had been in line to inherit a large share of hotel founder Barron Hilton's $1.2 billion, but he will now donate 97 per cent of it to the Conrad N Hilton Foundation, set up by his father.

Barron's son Steven, Paris's uncle and president and chief executive of the foundation, said: "Speaking for the family, as well as the foundation, we are all exceedingly proud and grateful for this extraordinary commitment."

"Working to alleviate human suffering around the globe, regardless of race, religion or geography, is the mandate of the foundation set by my grandfather and now reinforced by my father."

Barron was said to have grown very frustrated by Paris' behavior, which included her spending 23 days in jail for driving offenses and the sex tape, "One Night In Paris," featuring her having sex with her then boyfriend Rick Salomon, being leaked onto the internet.

Earlier this year, Jerry Oppenheimer, author of "House Of Hilton: From Conrad To Paris: A Drama Of Wealth, Power and Privilege" said: "Barron Hilton was, and is, extremely embarrassed by how the Hilton name has been sullied by Paris."

Barron's money will now go to help the homeless and provide clean water in Africa as well as helping fund the work of Catholic nuns.

Despite losing her inheritance Paris recently boasted of making of $200 million a year as it was so easy for her to make money.

She said: "I went to Austria and got paid $1 million to wave at a crowd and tell them why I loved Austria."

Asked why she loved Austria, she replied: "They pay me $1 million to wave at crowds!"

According to Forbes Magazine, Paris earned approximately $2 million in 2003-2004, $6.5 million in 2004-2005, and $7.1 million in 2005-2006.

Jessica Alba Confirms Engagement

The "Fantastic Four" actress - who was seen wearing a large diamond ring on her wedding finger over the festive period - is set to wed her long-term boyfriend and the father of her unborn baby Cash Warren.

The 26-year-old star's publicist Brad Cafarelli said: "I can confirm that they are engaged."

It was previously reported Alba had wanted to tie the knot before the couple's baby arrived in late spring next year.

However, it was recently claimed the actress had decided to postpone the nuptials because she does not want to walk down the aisle with a baby bump.

A source close to the couple said: "She doesn't want to be pregnant in a dress."

Alba and Warren met on the set of "Fantastic Four" in 2004 where 28-year-old Warren was working as a director's assistant.

They split in July this year, reportedly because Alba was putting pressure on Warren to get married, but quickly rekindled their romance in August.

Mischa Barton Jailed

Mischa Barton was briefly jailed after being arrested on suspicion of DUI (driving under the influence) and driving without a license.

The "St Trinian's" actress was pulled over while driving her white Range Rover in West Hollywood at around 3am yesterday (Dec 27, 2007) after police saw her straddling two lanes and failing to signal when making turn.

The 21-year-old star was reportedly handcuffed at the scene before being taking to a police station where she was briefly jailed on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license.

The police report said: "During Ms. Barton's detention, it was determined that she was an unlicensed driver and was driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage."

"Ms Barton was arrested and transported to West Hollywood's sheriff's station where the booked process was completed without incident."

Sgt. John Hocking said the star was also held on suspicion of possessing marijuana and an unidentified controlled substance.

Mischa was held behind bars for seven hours before being released on $10,000 bail at 10am, when she was picked up by her mother in a black Mercedes.

A court hearing has been scheduled for February 28.
