ALBA GETS BABY SHOWER FROM BANKS

The former supermodel filled the stage with balloons and gifts as pregnant Jessica appeared on the show to promote her new movie "The Eye."

Included among the presents were a pushchair, bassinet, toys and clothes at a total cost of $6,000.

Jessica – who is expecting her first child, rumored to be a boy, with fiance Cash Warren – revealed she was learning to cope with her ever-expanding breasts.

She said: "I've never dealt with cleavage before - it's a whole new thing."

The episode is set to air on US TV today (Feb 1, 2008).

Meanwhile, Jessica has admitted the baby wasn't planned but was a pleasant surprise.

She told America's "The Today Show": "I've always loved kids and I've always wanted kids, so this is kind of perfect."

"I feel really blessed. I feel really lucky. This is the best time ever. It's the best year."

When asked about her plans to marry Cash, the 26-year-old beauty remained coy on the subject.

She said: "I've thought about getting married. I've thought about it, yeah."

Hello and a happy new year to you all,

I’ve had an incredible start to the year already! I was lucky enough to receive the Football Writers Tribute Award last night, which was amazing for me personally. I was pleased to have Sven Goran Eriksson and Bryan Robson there at the ceremony saying a few words about my career. Both of them have achieved much in the game and are good people. It was also very emotional watching the highlights of my career so far. I’m so proud of what I have accomplished and I know I still have plenty more to offer. It was a special night for both me and my family, who were also there with me, and I hope I can create some more memories to add to the ones recognised yesterday evening.

I’m currently spending my days at Arsenal’s training ground, making sure I keep myself fit during the MLS off-season. It’s nice to be back in the UK even though the weather is a bit chilly! I’m definitely missing the Californian sun, and it was very kind of [French soccer manager] Arsene Wenger and Arsenal to let me train alongside the squad and use their facilities. I’m working hard to keep fit and to give myself the best chance of being called up to [Italian soccer manager] Fabio Cappello’s first England squad next month.

Partying with Paris comes with a price tag--or a hospital bill--which ever you prefer.

Kelly Osbourne claims that she suffered her first case of alcohol poisoning when she partied with pal Paris Hilton at Noir in Las Vegas.

Kelly said, "Paris gave me my first alcohol poisoning!"

According to the New York Daily News, Paris then laughed and said: "I did?! That's hot!"

Um...alcohol poisoning is soooo not hot! I got it once in college, it wasn't pretty. Neither was the hospital bill.

Nicole Kidman Confirms Pregnancy

The 40-year-old actress and her country singer husband Keith Urban - who married in June 2006 - confirmed they are expecting their first child together.

Nicole's representative Catherine Olim revealed yesterday (Jan 7, 2008): "The couple are thrilled."

It was reported this week the Oscar-winning actress has pulled out of post-World War II Germany drama "The Reader" - which she was supposed to start filming in Berlin with Ralph Fiennes this month - as she is worried undue stress may harm her unborn baby.

Matthew Frankel, a spokesman for the Weinstein Company who are producing the film, denied the actress has quit the movie, saying: "I am being told that the status on 'The Reader' has not changed."

Nicole - who has suffered miscarriages in the past - already has two adopted children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise - Isabella, 15, and Connor, 12.

She has made no secret of the fact she would like a child of her own, saying recently: "I love babies. I would say it's in God's hands. If God wills it, it will happen, right?"

Nicole and Keith met at a black-tie ball for Australians living in Los Angeles in summer 2005.

In April of that year, Nicole said: "I have got hormones running through my system. That is why I sit wriggling, saying I want to have a baby."

Tak Receives KBS Entertainment Award Grand Prize

Singer, comedian Tak Jae-hoon has won the grand prize at the 2007 KBS Entertainment Award. He is the host of KBS shows 'Happy Sunday', 'The Immortal Musical Classic' and 'Imagination+'.

Tak said, "I've been in broadcasting for several years now, but in the first years I juggled TV and film together. I may have put less focus on TV so I'm embarrassed to receive the award".

He also said, "I'm so grateful to the producers and writers for their understanding. I thank all the shows' staff and also my wife".
